Detectores
Un cabezal detector comprende uno o varios fotodiodos, cada uno de ellos con un filtro óptico de paso de banda, un difusor, un conjunto de lentes, una esfera de integración u otros elementos ópticos. Los cabezales detectores se calibran en el laboratorio de calibración de Gigahertz Optik GmbH.
Esta gama modular de fotómetros y radiómetros de banda ancha ofrece la posibilidad de una configuración individual. Los clientes pueden elegir entre una amplia selección de optómetros, amplificadores, cabezales detectores y accesorios. Además de sus productos estándar, Gigahertz-Optik también ofrece soluciones personalizadas.
Paso 1: Como primer paso recomendamos la selección de un cabezal detector. También es posible utilizar varios cabezales detectores, que pueden usarse indistintamente con medidores monocanales o simultáneamente con medidores multicanales. Los criterios de selección de un cabezal detector incluyen la cantidad y el rango de medición necesarios, su función espectral y todos los demás parámetros relevantes para el uso previsto.
Paso 2: En el segundo paso, se pueden seleccionar accesorios como, por ejemplo, una esfera integradora. Si el accesorio modifica la geometría y la capacidad de respuesta del cabezal detector, deberá seleccionarse una calibración adicional para el cabezal detector con accesorios en la magnitud correspondiente.
Paso 3: En el tercer paso, se selecciona el metro. El uso previsto (por ejemplo, móvil, estacionario, manual o por control remoto), el número de canales de señal, el modo de medición (CW, dosis, energía de pulso, progresión temporal del pulso) son criterios de decisión.
Paso 4: La conexión del dispositivo de medición para el cabezal detector determina el tipo de conector del cabezal detector. Los detectores de Gigahertz -Optik están diseñados con conectores de los cuatro tipos siguientes:
- Tipo de conector -1: Conector coaxial BNC convencional
- Conector Tipo -2: Conector de datos de calibración con Eeprom para almacenar los datos de los detectores (tipo, responsividad calibrada) leídos por el medidor conectado.
- Conector Tipo -4: Clavija compacta para cabezales de detectores con hasta cuatro fotodiodos.
- Conector Tipo -5: Clavija compacta con Eeprom de calibración
Paso 5: Para determinar el rango de medición de una configuración seleccionada, se requieren algunas especificaciones del cabezal detector y del medidor seleccionados. La sensibilidad típica (por ejemplo, A/lx) y la corriente de señal máxima admisible del cabezal detector y la señal de entrada mínima y máxima del rango de medición del medidor.
Límite de detección (potencia equivalente al ruido, N.E.P.) = Señal de entrada mínima del medidor (A) / sensibilidad típica del detector (por ejemplo, 0,1 pA / 3 nA / (mW / cm²) = 0,33 nW / cm². (*1) (*2)
Lectura máxima = señal de entrada máxima del medidor (A) / sensibilidad típica del detector (por ejemplo, 20 μA / 3 nA / (mW / cm²) = 6,66 W / cm². (*3)
Observaciones:
(*1) El valor mínimo medible del luxómetro o radiómetro de banda ancha resulta de la relación señal/ruido (SNR) deseada. Para un luxómetro DIN Clase A, por ejemplo, se indica una SNR mínima de 100. Para el cabezal detector del ejemplo de cálculo, una SNR de 100 significaría un valor mínimo medible de 33 nW / cm². Para aplicaciones en el área límite de la tecnología de medición de la radiación óptica, es habitual utilizar una SNR inferior, de 50 o incluso de 10.
(*2) En el caso de señales de corriente del detector muy bajas, los movimientos del cable entre el cabezal del detector y el medidor pueden dar lugar a señales de interferencia cortas y capacitivas. Además, los efectos de la tensión en el enchufe del cabezal detector pueden aumentar la señal de ruido.
(*3) El valor máximo de medición calculado refleja el gran rango dinámico de los fotodiodos semiconductores. Sin embargo, en la aplicación práctica, el valor máximo medible suele estar limitado por la radiación de temperatura contenida en la radiación óptica medida, lo que supondría un calentamiento inaceptable del cabezal detector.
