ISS-8P-LED-VA
The uniform light source ISS-8P-LED-VA is based on an ODM98 coating and offers an 19 mm light exit port. Furthermore the system is equipped with an BN-LLSF-2P light source and a manual aperture for continuous intensity adjustment (luminance/radiance). Due to this continuous intensity adjustment it is also perfectly suited as an tunable illuminance/irradiance calibration standard for photometers. Due to its spectral distribution (see BN-LLSF-2P), it is especially suitable for photometers used for LED measurements. The light source is equipeed with electronics which allow fully automated temperature and constant current control of the LED.

Intensity adjustment

With the help of the manual aperture the radiance/luminance of the sphere can be continuously adjusted to the desired level. A quality measure for the intensity adjustment is a constant color temperature and no change in the homogeneity of the light exit port. Both is achieved by the ISS-8P-LED-VA.

Other versions with remote controllable aperture or optical density filters are available on request.


Calibration

A factory calibration with included calibration certificate which is traceable to a national metrology institutes (NMI) can be optionally purchased. DAkkS testing certificates are available on request as well. The calibration is done by Gigahertz-Optik's internal calibration laboratory.
